Traditional Markets

You stand to lose all or part of your money when you use the XIONMarkets platform. The XIONMarkets team has taken every precaution to guarantee the safety of funds.

AMM Prediction Markets can only be resolved to 'Yes' or 'No' following the 'Resolution' time, and all markets are currently resolved manually.

Our team created markets listed on the platform. The prediction markets user interface of XIONMarkets only shows markets launched on the XION Blockchain.

Smart Contract Exploit Risk

XIONMarkets's smart contracts are susceptible to errors or exploits. Any smart contract running on a decentralized system that supports smart contracts runs the risk of this. A malicious actor might be able to steal some or all of the money kept in XIONMarkets's smart contracts, depending on the bug or exploit.

Other Dangers

Since all markets are currently formed and resolved by hand by people, errors may happen. Because of the blockchain's immutability, the result cannot be altered once resolved.

Although it is still a manual procedure, we are working on more automated and decentralized approaches to market resolution.

Because of the nature of XION Meta Accounts, it is nearly impossible for users to lose access to their funds as recovery options are linked to email accounts associated with their walletless decentralized identities contrary to the conventional problems associated with the storage and recovery of wallet mnemonics.
